Flipbook
I really liked making the flipbook. I thought it was an interesting way to learn about animation. There were some really good things about my flipbook and some really bad things.
The things I liked and thought did good on was keeping the sequence smooth. I think it all went well in the case of not having a rough sequence. The things in each image were at the spot that I wanted them at. The things I wanted to move in each image moved enough so that you will see that it was moving, but not so much that you could not see it fluidly. The objects that I wanted to keep in one place stayed there and didn't move. I liked the story of my flipbook and thought it was a wonderful experience making a flipbook.
The things that were difficult while making a flipbook was not getting irritated at making the same image again and again and again. During the beginning, I had trouble making my flipbook flip properly. I also drew so hardly with pencil that the image wouldn't erase properly. Therefore I had to keep reminding myself to draw lightly. Also in the beginning, I had problems keeping the objects in one spot, but I conquered that problem by getting a long piece of glass and shining a light through it, ergo I could trace each image.
If I were to make this flipbook again, there are many things I would do differently. I would use more pages and make the transitions even more smoothly. I would add more details and more objects would be moving. If I had enough time, I would make the lines darker and more clearer. There would be more things in the background and I could also show the sun moving with time in the background
If I were to grade myself on this flipbook, I would give myself an A because I put all my effort into it and have a lot of pride in my flipbook.
