Flipbook Animation
Flipbook animation is when there is a pile of papers, each with a picture on it. When you flip through the papers quickly, the pictures become in motion. You see a continuous motion because you are flipping through the pictures very quickly and since the images are moving before the image gets out of your brain, you see it as continuous without no end. Persistence of vision is an important factor in this.

I liked this video because of the attention and detail. You can see the ripples in the flowing water, the cracks in the wall. In the beginning you can see some of the rain splashing as it hits the ground. The expressions on the people were really well done. In my opinion, an excellent example of flipbook animation.
This was a very nice video. Not only was it colored and therefore more appealing to the eye, it showed you the time and effort it takes to make flipbook animation worth watching. It teaches people that making flipbook animation is not a walk in the park. Although flipbook animation does not require these many pages in order to work, this person went above and beyond. I also appreciated how it was so smooth.
This video is great for those learning how to make flipbook animation. You can see how flipbook animation is made. The video teaches techniques like tracing on a window in order to see where the previous image is and how colouring darkly can help you keep something you want in one spot. In this case the example was the ground, which didn't move because the person saw the ground from the previous image coming through the thin paper.
