Claymation vs. Puppet Animation
There are differences between claymation and puppet animation. While claymation uses props made out of clay, puppet animation uses props out of fabric and foam The things involved are different. The way a tree looks with claymation and the way a tree looks in puppet animation are different. The tree made with clay will be glossier while the tree made with a puppet will not stand out as much. The worries between each of the prop is different. With claymation, your worries are that the clay does not melt and that you do not accidentally smudge it. When it comes to puppet animation, your worries are that the fabric does not rip and that your props can move smoothly. When you use fabric on a prop, you limit the amount that the person can move because the fabric restricts the amount of movement. All-in-all, claymation and puppet animation are very different.
